Stetchworth has a beautiful recreation ground behind the Ellesmere Centre which has a children's play area, BMX track and football and basketball posts.  There is also a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) for a range of outdoor sports and plenty of open space for team games such as football and cricket.  The grounds are also popular for dog walking! The recreation ground is surrounded by mature trees and set in a lovely location with a backdrop of rolling fields and woods.   

As well as the recreation ground, Stetchworth boasts a small but very pretty village green at the junction of the High Street and Church Lane.  Here you will find the village sign and war memorial, and we will be adding a flagpole displaying the Union Jack, and a directional sign to the nearby church in the near future.  Our well-kept village green makes a lovely entrance to the village as you drive in from Newmarket.
